Well okay.
You think its worth a shot.
You bring the phone to one ear and wait as the ringer starts up. You can only imagine who might pick up at the other end.
==> Answer!
You hear your phone buzz on the kitchen counter, and slowly drag your face up from the cold surface of the dining room table. Squinting at the stark light in the otherwise dark house, you wave your hand and lazily gust the phone into your palm. Staring at the contact, you find a small smile quirk at your lips.
“hEY, mARI,” you take no measure to hide the hollowness in your voice. She never was a fan of your bullshitting. “wHAT’S UP, hIGHBLOOD GIVING YOU A HARD TIME AGAIN,”
You listened to the voice, a man (you would have guessed as much from the contact name) He spoke of a highblood… the one from the photo in your house? So this must be the man who was standing next to him. The one with wings.
You might as well spill the truth to this stranger— or not really, just someone you couldn’t remember quite right.
“Um Hello Ande Is It “
You paused.
“I Mean Of Course This Is You Were In My Contacts”
“And No To Answer Your Question I Can Not Say Anyone Fitting The Description Of Highblooded Is Giving Me Any Issue At The Present”
Another pause.
“At Least I Don’t Think So”
Oh good gracious what if he didn’t believe you? You worriedly thought of a way that wouldn’t make this sound absolutely ridiculous.
“You See Dear I’m In A Bit Of A Bind As I Have Absolutely No Idea Who You Are Or Where I Am”
“Well I Know A Few Things I Have Remembered My Name Since I Woke And I Know I Live Here But I Uh Well”
You sighed rather aggravated about this whole mess.
“I’m Lost And Don’t Quite Know How To Navigate Back To My Home Currently Can I Request Your Help”
